Our Parent Advisory Board meetings continue to provide Excelsior Family Connections with vital feedback and ideas directly from the community on how to improve our programs. The Parent Advisory Board has reviewed children’s safety in the center’s CPDI program and offered suggestions on how to better improve monitoring of children. Suggestions also include more field trips, and more story time and songs. In response to this the Parent Advisory Board and staff worked together to plan and incorporate monthly field trips, creating a consistent model for appropriate discipline, and new books and songs during circle time.
